Micro Metal Finishing utilizes state of the art equipment to control our bath chemistry as well as the plating thickness on the finished parts.  We have a degreed chemist on staff to manage our lab. 
 
Our IN-PROCESS LAB has testing equipment includes X-RAY and Kocour units for controlling the plating thickness testing of your parts.  An Atomic Absorbtion unit is utilized to monitor our bath chemistries to insure the plating baths are free of impurities that can affect quality.  We conduct in-house Dupernel testing to maintain the proper quality of our Micro-Kote® coating system.  We have in-house capabilities to verify the Rockwell hardness of heat treated parts.

Micro Metal Finishing's FINISHED PRODUCT LAB conducts testing to verify the corrosion protection of our coatings.  We have a Salt Spray chamber to conduct neutral salt spray testing and a CASS chamber to conduct the copper accelerated testing required for exterior automotive parts.

To continue to develop and test new coatings, Micro Metal Finishing has an extensive R&D LAB where we have twenty plating tanks on line to conduct tests on new coatings.  We can vary temperatures and concentrations to develop the processes that will provide the coatings that meet our customer's needs. 


   

Cass Test Chamber

The CASS Chamber is used to conduct in-house corrosion testing on duplex nickel which must withstand a severe 80 hour test.
