Micro Metal Finishing offers NON HEXAVALENT CHROMATES FOR ZINC PLATING. The traditional "zinc with yellow chromate" that has been used extensively in the automotive industry for many years has essentially been eliminated.
Our trivalent chromate coatings give corrosion protection that surpasses what was achieved by the hexavalent yellow chromates. Non-hexavalent chromates are avaliable in CLEAR, YELLOW and BLACK. Please contact us for more information.
Corrosion Protection: Typical salt spray corrosion resistance is a minium of 96 hours up to 240 hours with the use of a sealear.
